All you need to know about relationship intensives in London or at The French Retreat

I offer relationship intensives for couples at The French Retreat or in London (or at a venue provided by you).

These are two or three day sessions, rather than a weekly hour which tends to be too little at a time to gain traction or build real and lasting change into the relationship.

My intention is to get couple's connected again by clear communication, being truly heard, and rebuilding respect, trust and intimacy. The experience I offer also sets couples up with a replicable tool to work with independently.

I am available for subsequent one to one and couples work afterwards.

Day 1 focuses on communication: saying and hearing what has been unsaid.

9:30-10:00am - the three of us arrive and set the scene
10:00-11:30am - I work with one of you using a communication model focusing on ...
1. Appreciations 2. Experience/observations (the nitty gritty) 3. Feelings/emotions 4. Needs 5. Patterns 6. Requests 7. Things one could be doing (that would help) regardless of whether the other changes
11:30-1:00pm I work with the same model with the other of you
1:00-2:00pm Lunch break
2:00-4:00 I facilitate a dialogue between you based on the above

Day 2 focuses on giving the past it's due of feeling. Honouring the past and letting go. Ultimately it is a grieving ritual about saying goodbye to what no longer serves you and opening up to a positive future.

9:30-10:00am - the three of us arrive and set the scene
10:00-11:30 - I work with one of you using a grieving ritual to help let go of the past
11:30-1:00pm - I work on same with the other
1:00-2:00pm - Lunch break
2:00-4:00pm - I facilitate a dialogue between you based on above

I have worked with these approaches with couples who are keen to stay together, unsure/ambivalent, committed to parting or both differing . For some people two days will be sufficient to re-launch a relationship on a positive track; for others I recommend three days, consecutively.
