Matthew is a coach, facilitator and consultant - working with individuals, teams and organisations. 

He consults nationally and internationally, runs a  busy coaching practice in the UK (London and Brighton) and is developing a Retreat Centre in South West France www.retreat.fr

He is a member of the teaching and administrative teams at the Hoffman Institute UK - teaching approximately ten, seven-day, residential, Hoffman Processes a year as well as facilitating Q2 seminars, introduction days, reconnection days, teenager workshops and regular support group meetings for Hoffman graduates.

With his Hoffman colleague Donna Lancaster he has designed and co-facilitated a programme of nine, one-day, Relationship workshops a year for individuals and couples since 2010. A two-day weekend workshop entitled Making Relationships Work began in April 2013.

He consults with organisations on vision, culture, healthy communications, equalities/diversity and team dynamics in the UK and internationally.

Team-building week - Research and Development Directorate, European Commission, Brussels, June 2013.

Consulting/coaching offer with a London based leadership/organisational culture consultancy.

Co-facilitated a programme of Systemic Constellations workshops with Gaye Donaldson (director CSCW).

Associate lecturer at London College of Communications - ADLAB - 3 hour sessions introducing systemic approaches to Marketing & Design with Prof. C Bullar.

Designed and delivered conflict resolution programmes in the Middle East. Healing the Wounds of History, Byblos, 2011 and Bsous, 2012.

Consulted on film and theatre projects - including feature film script and narrative development with director Phillipe Aractingi

Developed a half-day workshop for London theatre school.

Consulted with with actors, directors, creatives on catalysing the creative process.

TRAINING & EXPERIENCE

Since qualifying as a Hoffman teacher in 2008, Matthew has taught over 50, eight-day Hoffman Processes in the UK, Ireland and Canada. He qualified as a Supervisor in 2011.

Recent ongoing professional development includes foundation training in NLP; On-site trauma and psychological first aid training; David Richo Relationship work. Upcoming training includes Advanced NLP Generative Coaching.

He has a variety of professional trainings in Systemic Constellation work

2006 One-year Community of Learning, Practice and Innovation (CoLPI) training in systemic approaches to organisations.

2007 One-year Foundation Training in Family Work with the Centre for Systemic Constellation Work (formerly CSISS).

2008 Foundation and Advanced Training in Organisational Systems (CSISS) and Systemic Facilitation with Hunter Beaumont.

Matthew is a member of the International Systemic Constellations Association and the European Association on Systemic Consultancy .

Matthew receives regular supervision with Sabine Young MA and is part of a professional peer support group in Lewes.

Matthew has up to date professional indemnity insurance cover as a personal development trainer, facilitator and coach.

PERSONAL

Matthew attended art schools in Winchester and Hornsey, London after which he developed a career in organic food and wine resulting in over 20 years at MD level. His interests include painting, stone-carving and playing music.

His childhood origins in Lebanon (his father was a British UN diplomat, his mother Lebanese) have inspired a life-long passion for initiatives that reconcile east and west.

He is a father of three and has two grandchildren.
